Algunas fotos de una Gran Canaria verde. Mucha gente piensa que es árida, pero hay muchos sitios llenos de plantas. Hace poco más de cien años era considerada más verde que Tenerife, pero la provisión de madera para los vapores casi arruinó la isla.
Agüimes tiene un alcalde ilustrado que ha ayudado a restaurar la ciudad de una agradable y original manera. Aquí hay algunas fotos del casco viejo y unas novedades.
Tenerife 12 2008, son fotos sacadas en los últimos dos meses por aquí y por allá en la isla.

Hi there,
Some photos of a green Gran Canaria. People think it is barren, but many parts of it are full of plant life. Just over a hundred years ago, it was considered much greener than Tenerife, but providing fuel for steamships among other things nearly ruined the island.
Agüimes has an enlightened mayor who has helped to restore the town in a pleasant and original way, Here are some pics of the older part and a couple of novelties.
Tenerife 12 2008, are various photos taken in the last couple of months out and about on the island.
